Stephen Street Gallery will be hosting a group show entitled “Lift and Drag” — curated by Sally Beauti Twin.

The walls will feature literal Drag pieces: 36 works from Bobby Abate's "Homophile" historical research works and embroidery self-portraits in drag by Scott Walker.

You will also find colorful and abstract soft sculpture works by Yasmeen Abdallah, Amir Badawi, and Vanada Jain.

The ceiling will be a flood of illuminated & translucent & iridescent super kites and their cousins by Sally Beauti Twin, Isaak Hoffman, Cecilia André, and… you?

Jemila MacEwen will lead a silver kite making workshop!

Also featuring works by Daniel Clurman, Li-Ming Hu, Claire Weaver-Zeman, and Alexander Zev.

Between revolt and liberation there is Lift and Drag.
